Foliage Description: Fire engine red or scarlet leaves in early spring. As they mature, their color fades into a pinkish red with a slight green undertone. During the summer the foliage becomes greenish red with the main veins remaining red. In fall, an edging of deep pink appears at the leaf margins spreading into the center until the whole leaf is ablaze.
